Goa has 02 BAMS colleges including All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Pernem and Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Ponda. A total of 160 BAMS seats are available across Ayurveda colleges in Goa. The All India Institute of Ayurveda, Pernem is a National Institute and its BAMS seats are allotted through AACCC All India AYUSH counselling. In other colleges, 15% seats are allotted through AACCC All India counselling while the remaining 85% seats are filled through Goa State AYUSH counselling as per eligibility rules. NRI quota seats, if available, are allotted only through the respective counselling authority. Goa domicile candidates are primarily eligible for state quota seats, however candidates from other states can participate through All India Quota counselling. All NEET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for BAMS admission based on merit and seat availability.
