Telangana has 02 Government Ayurveda (BAMS) Colleges with a total of 126 BAMS seats offering admission through NEET UG 2026. Government BAMS seats in Telangana are allotted through AACCC All India AYUSH Counselling (15% AIQ) and Telangana State AYUSH Counselling (85% State Quota) based on eligibility, reservation rules, and counselling policy.
Government BAMS colleges in Telangana are preferred due to affordable fee structure, experienced faculty, and strong hospital-based clinical exposure. Admission is strictly based on NEET merit and counselling participation. With limited Government seats and rising competition, candidates must secure a competitive NEET score to obtain admission based on merit and reservation norms.
These institutes provide structured academic learning, practical training through attached Ayurvedic hospitals, and exposure to classical as well as modern Ayurvedic treatment methods. Telangana is steadily developing as an important center for Ayurveda education in South India.
