ESIC Medical Colleges 2026
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is a statutory body established under the ESI Act, 1948 and functions under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. ESIC runs its own network of medical colleges across the country to provide quality medical education and healthcare services.
For NEET UG 2026, there are a total of 20 ESIC medical colleges in India offering the MBBS course. These colleges together provide around 1830 MBBS seats, and admissions are conducted through MCC counselling based on NEET UG rank.
ESIC medical colleges have a unique admission structure. Seats are divided into All India Quota seats and Insured Person (IP) quota seats, which are reserved for eligible wards of ESIC-insured employees. This makes ESIC colleges a preferred option for candidates covered under the ESIC scheme.
