KSB (Kendriya Sainik Board)

KSB (Kendriya Sainik Board) Medical College 2026

The Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) functions under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, and plays a crucial role in facilitating MBBS and BDS admissions under the CW (Children/Wards) quota.

For the academic session 2026–27, eligible NEET UG candidates who are wards of Ex-Servicemen from the Army, Navy, or Air Force, as well as wards of serving personnel falling under specified priority categories, can apply for MBBS and BDS seats through KSB.

Admission under the KSB quota is strictly based on NEET UG 2026 qualification. Candidates must submit a separate application to the Kendriya Sainik Board after NEET results are declared. Final seat allotment is carried out based on priority category, NEET rank, and candidate preference.

Every year, approximately 17–20 MBBS seats and 1–3 BDS seats are allocated under this quota by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The list of participating colleges and seat matrix may vary annually.

Counselling for selected candidates is conducted at the KSB Secretariat, New Delhi. Once a seat is allotted, it cannot be changed. Only one ward per Ex-Serviceman family can avail this admission benefit.
